This policy covers how we (Cascode Labs Pty Ltd) collect and process information from the Context Camera app and website.
In general, information collected by the Context Camera app is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us or others. There are some exceptions.
We send your location to Apple's reverse geocoding servers in order to determine your current address.
We send the receipt placed inside your app by Apple and an anonymous identifier to our servers for validation. The receipt contains information such as when you installed the app and what version you originally installed, as well as details of any in app purchases you have made. The receipt does not contain any personal information and can't be used to identify you. We use this information to determine what features you have access to. Our servers keep logs of basic technical information like IP addresses for a limited period of time.
If you link a Microsoft account to Context Camera then the Microsoft software and services used to facilitate this may collect information about you. Please refer to the Microsoft Privacy Statement for more information.
We collect information that you choose to send us by emailing us or signing up for our mailing lists. This includes your email address, name and other information that you provide. If you choose to attach troubleshooting information then this is included in plain text in the body of the email and only contains general information about your device and Context Camera settings.
Our website keeps logs of basic technical information like IP addresses.
We use the information we collect to provide functionality, facilitate improvements and for customer support.
In general, we don't share information we collect with others. There are some exceptions.
We employ reasonable security measures to protect collected information.
Because you can link cloud storage services to Context Camera, we are required to disclose the considerable data collected by these services in the privacy section of our App Store listing. If you do not link cloud storage services to the app minimal data is collected. See above for details.
We may update this policy from time to time.
