How do I transfer photos to my computer?
Photos taken by Context Camera are stored inside the app by default for ease of management and editing. To get a photos stored inside Context Camera onto your computer you need to:
- Export the photos to another location. To export a photo or photos, go to the Photos tab and tap the album that the photos are in. Tap the select button, tap the photos you wish to export and then tap the export button. You will be prompted to choose whether to export the files as a zip file or as multiple images. Then the standard iOS sharing interface will appear.
- Access the location the photos were exported to from your computer. How to do this depends on the export option you chose.
Some examples:
- Export photos via airdrop (Mac only) and choose your mac as the destination - the photos will appear in the airdrop downloads directory on your mac.
- Export photos as a zip file, and choose share via WiFi. The photos are available to download in a web browser on a computer connected to the same WiFi network as your phone.
- Export photos to the photo library, then download via USB cable.
- Export photos to iCloud, then access them via the iCloud web site or in the iCloud folder on your Mac or PC.
Automatic exports can also be configured if that suits your workflow better under Settings -> Automatic Exports.
