Troubleshooting Compass Issues
The following troubleshooting steps should be followed in order, opening Context Camera in between each step to see if it worked.
- Ensure that you are in an area free of strong magnetic fields (avoid large metal objects and active transmitters).
- Open up the default iOS compass app and verify that the compass is working.
- Ensure that Context Camera has access to your current location at Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services.
- Ensure that system compass calibration is enabled at Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> System Services -> Compass Calibration
- Ensure that the compass calibration screen is enabled at Context Camera Settings -> Compass Calibration.
- Reboot your device.
- Email for support if it still isn’t working.
