Some information (like what area you need maps for) is sent to your selected map servers when you are using the mapping functionality in the app. They may record this information.
Your waypoints are stored in an unencrypted database which resides in the app folder. While other apps on your phone shouldn’t be able to see the contents of the app folder, the database can be copied off the phone if it is connected to a computer with the right software.
MilGPS should not be used for classified or sensitive information.
